Hello residents of LILITH!

I am in possession or nearing possession of a few board games (how is not relevant) and I came up with a brilliant idea: How about we form some kind of game club? We can meet up regularly to try out new games, have some food, and have fun that doesn't involve going out to town.

Please, I can't play these by myself.

that's a nice way of looking at it. like magic and technology are just different manifestations of the same thing.

i guess they do sort of serve the same purpose, letting people do stuff they wouldn't be able to on their own.

I mean, I have magic equipment, some of which cast spells a druid or wizard can do with their years of practice. It's nearly the same thing where I'm from.

and i gotta ask: what is the difference between a druid and a wizard

Yes! They're my magical tools that deliver spells across the battlefiled, all which I made myself.

So a wizard studies spells and uses arcane power to cast magic that can manipulate the elements and the world, while a druid calls upon the power of nature. There's lots of overlap between the two forms of magic, but ultimately their specialties are different. I'm not a wizard, though my runes are based on arcane research.

That's not even getting into other types of arcane magic casters like sorcerors and warlocks and bards, in a sense. But don't worry about those.

so you make your own spells instead of getting them from books or something? what are you if you're not a wizard?

man i didn't know there were so many kinds of magic users. i've seen most of those words used in fantasy stories but they're all used to describe the same thing, pretty much. a wizard is a warlock is a sorcerer, except warlocks are usually evil, for some reason. and they're almost always old guys with long beards and robes.

except bards, they usually just sing.

Alright, no, wizards cast spells out of nothing. I build things that cast spells for me. Wizards don't know a thing about engineering.

I never met a warlock, but I wouldn't assume they're all awful people. And most I've seen are pretty young and charismatic.

[You can't be a Charisma-based caster and not make an impression.]

Bard sings. Some of them do magic. Lots of us can. It's just how we use it that makes the difference.
