Okay, figured I'd ask just in case so that I don't end up repeating a lot of what I said the last time we kind of talked about it, but... um, have you tried that one thing I suggested yet? About exchanging notes with Lucy-san and trying to get to know them a little more that way?

That's why I did this first. I want to understand what kind of person she is...so I don't say the wrong thing in the letters I make for her.

I don't know Lucy-san very well, unfortunately, other than that she has been a great asset to have when fighting against the kaiju here. She's super powerful from what I've been able to see of her during missions, but because we're on separate teams, we haven't interacted that much here yet.

I like cooking! It's really fun when you have a good recipe to work with. Going on walks, and playing with the kitty cats at work too! Though I dunno if that last one can be called a hobby. A job hobby? Jobby?

Cooking's not a bad hobby to have--I know I certainly can't cook, so I'm always kind of impressed by those who are able to do so better than I can.

But what kind of work do you do that involves cats being there? Is it one of those cat cafes or something different?

It is! All the kitties there are so cute. They're mischievous though so you really have to watch your snacks with them around!

Yeah, I can imagine: if they're anything like the fat cat that used to live in the dorm at our school, they act lazy, but then the second you take your eyes off them, they're stealing your food right off your place if you're not careful.

Yes, exactly! They're such rascals, huh? But they're so cute, you can't really be mad for too long.

[Saying he's a fellow cat lover is... maybe a little too generous. Or the complete opposite in fact, given that the cat in question he is referring to did not like Manjoume very much.]
