Ereshkigal has a good idea of how you could go about speaking to her yourself. Hell, maybe even these devices can do the trick just as easily.

It's probably best to talk to her yourself anyway. There's always going to be some level of opinion bias when you hear from others, whether it's good or bad.

And I'm not sure what you're expecting or what you've assumed, but ... I believe she wanted to protect you from more harrowing parts in your lives. So at the very least, I'd suggest being prepared to hear some uncomfortable things.
