You try fulfilling wishes for little gratitude for a millennia and see what your temperament turns out like.

And if they're stupid enough to destroy their own assets, more power to them. They won't last long once word gets out. A fair number of the Outsiders would turn against them in a heartbeat and all their supposed humanitarian efforts would come under scrutiny.

That's why I try to. Somebody needs to care about others, whether they're human or god.
You may be used to it, but that doesn't always mean it doesn't hurt.

I'm trying to be a God of Fortune, like luck, to bring happiness to people. Maybe a silly goal, but one I want to aim for all the same.
