I hope you have all had ample time to rest from the aftermath of the kaiju's attack. However, it is time to turn our attention to the future. We have been given an opportunity to decide our next step.

1: Stay in Seoul and assist the city.
2: Chase after the escaped Imugi.

I imagine opinions may be divided on this front, so I would like to open the forum for discussion. Please state your choice and provide thorough reasoning for your decision. You will not convince anyone with a half-baked argument. You may respond to any comment as you please, but remember to stay civil and do not resort to derogatory or inflammatory comments. I have a bit of an intellectual competition going with Ratio. [ DO YOU?? ] Wild deviations might invalidate certain aspects of it, so I choose to stick to what he puts forth as his methodology.

My war table is both literal and figurative. I keep a mental system of all my knowledge. Want to see? It was easier when we were mentally linked, but I could use the Dataverse for a rough representation.

I firmly stand by my observations that the way Outsiders have been treated from the start is highly disrespectful. Considering the sheer volume of labor expected of us — both in service of this world, and in regards to our own health and well-being, we are lacking.

A ruler receives a tithe from his subjects in exchange for aiding them with their problems, and we have not. Why stretch ourselves thin to forge further goodwill?

We cannot eat goodwill. We cannot exchange goodwill for resources. We cannot heal our injuries with goodwill.

That is all we will receive for aiding the cities, thus we are better off letting them alone and focusing on the core of the problem we were summoned for: eradicating kaiju.

I will also admit to a curiosity for this 'war table' of yours. If you are collecting information on all Outsiders, perhaps we can collaborate to form a fuller picture of our collective capacity in all areas, not just combat.

Compensation for work done should be fair and proportionate, so I will not deny a desire to see it due, but it is not among my motivations. I simply desire to see the planet overcome its crisis and heal.

[ And yet, that's exactly how Ratio feels. He is concerned about the planet and wishes to help. He might be one of the most altruistic people the universe has borne witness to, even if he himself denies it. ]
