Odile sounds to be quite the character. Though, by those words, is the solution not to simply doubt every single person you come across?

Well, I cannot blame you. I do think we, as people, often spend more time pondering the "how" and "why" when they essentially matter very little. [ why did this person want to kill me? how could they do this? for example. he might have also wondered the same thing in his youth. ]
