( See, Aventurine is used to praise and compliments -- his beauty is a tool as much as his luck is, and he's unafraid to use it when it works. But what he doesn't expect is for someone with as genuine intentions as Ratio has to simply layer on praise. Veritas does not lie without due cause, does not have anything to gain from flattering Aventurine, and wants nothing from him that Aventurine is not willing to give him without question.

[ Oh, how he adores the flustered look on Aventurine's face. The gambler normally excels at concealing his emotions and presenting a confident facade designed to draw others in, but only in front of Ratio does he express emotions like embarrassment.

No, I don't think you have. I have yet to apprise you of every quality of yours that I adore. The way you effortlessly read people and garner their favour has always impressed me. Humans are complex creatures, yet to you it seems as if they are simply a textbook of their interests and weaknesses.

Though you often claim your luck is responsible for your success, I have seen the effort you put into tipping the odds in your favour.
