I wasn't always a good god. The wishes I answered were

darker.

So you'd think. But it's been a long time since I regularly fulfilled those kinds of wishes, so I've faded from humanity's collective memory for the most part. Which is why I have to work harder than ever to answer the good wishes I get, so I don't fade away.

It's my hope to become a God of Fortune who hears good prayers and is known for saving people.

Huh. I suppose that's true. Dunno if I'll be able to tackle kaiju on my own, but I sure can help everybody else with taking them down.

This is still Japan, and people are people no matter what era they're from, so granting their wishes to be saved is the least I can do.
