Are these pictures fake then?

They do not correspond to any moments that I recall.

[ Maybe the storage box represents his preference for order? The image with the strips of cloth admittedly reminds him of the past, in a sense, both distant and relatively recent.

Finding an explanation for the remaining two pictures is more difficult, which makes him feel the need to attempt it until he can comprehend their existence. ]

Perhaps they are manifestations of abstract ideas found in the subconscious... or somewhat puzzling recommendations.
