I am swiftly starting to think this is another example of the "slang" people are so fond of. This aversion to saying what you mean plainly is continuously vexing 😤.

In this context "hot" is used to appraise one's physical fitness? I am still pleased, I am quite strong 💪, it is proper that it be appreciated.

Yes, that's pretty much it.

Only humans don't really call them "mates".

I used to do that and my friends told me it was pretty weird.

We call them "partners" or "spouses" or "boyfriends" or whatever, but it's the same end goal.

Not necessarily resulting in kids, but you know.

Humans seem to value giving as many confused and obfuscated names to things as they can 🙄.

It is heartening to hear that the concept of a mate, apologies, "spouse", for reasoning beyond procreation is not unknown to them. They are peculiar about many things, especially in regards to their own happiness, the fact that they understand a mate of the soul is good.

There is hope for your kind 👍. If you are human I mean. Apologies again 😅, I should not assume. Thought it has so far proved to be the norm amongst the Outsiders.

I am Godzilla. It is as much my name as it is my being. Others have described me as similar to 🐉 or 🦖 but I find neither capture my essence.

If the humans of my world had a name for my kind I do not know it, they did not have a way to fluently communicate with me 😕.

It is long in the past 🤷‍♂️. Do not concern yourself with it.

As far as names I have never had a need to bestow one on myself. The names humans give me have always sufficed, it is a talent of your kind. Godzilla especially suits well, it is strong 💪, authoritative 👑.
