What was the robe for?

I ran a temple back in Tokyo. For those afflicted with curses. The robes became a part of that.

- and in rover's mind this kind of connects to what he's told her before! he has dietary restrictions. he lives a rather ascetic life, that is now complicated by dying and being here. (maybe in their religion he's allowed to have families? rover doesn't have much experience with such things.) not having heard much against him, it all sort of makes sense to her. for better or worse, geto gets to shape how he wants to be seen for the time being, with few terrible moments here and there where rover might grasp something a little too sharply before it fades into smoke.
