Well.. I was engaged for awhile. That means.. when two humans promise to have a ceremony that shows everyone that they have committed to be mates for life.

[ The concept of "engaged" seems a little round about to him. One's mate should be obvious by territorial defense and ruthlessly beating any that look at them the wrong way, but hey humans gonna human. This does explain why Laios was so hesitant to talk about building his own lair and family though, that must have been hard to do. ]

_{[ For some reason, this is embarrassing. It's probably because Godzilla is so.. sentient in comparison to other monsters he's interacted with... but he feels like it would be rude if he just did this without asking. ]}

Would it be okay.. if I sketched you sometime? I really like drawing monsters, but I have never come across one that has such intellect.. i think I could get you into a really cool pose and draw it and.. I would just really love that!

[ It's a good thing he's alone in his room right now because Laios' request has Godzilla literally pulsing with pride. As far as he knows it's been a very long time since humans have made artist renditions of his frankly awe-inspiring self, it feels good to have that appreciation again. ]
