[ Lucy is a bit, let's say, out of sorts after her surgery. She's tried getting up and walking out of the medical bay, but it does her a fat lot of good with her body aching every time she so much as twitches in a way it doesn't like. And that's saying nothing of the sharper pains that serve as the aftermath. ]

I can't take another second in here

[ Now, the question is, will whoever answers

A. take her back to her room

B. convince her to stay put in bed

or

c. will she be gone by the time someone shows up and thus be somewhere in the hall in an ill-advised fit of stubbornness? ]

[Poor girl. She's curious to what kind of surgery happened to cause this, but she won't dig too deep into details unless Lucy is willing to share.]

You got it. Can you walk or would you like me to carry you?

[Asking before she makes any accidental moves. She opens her hand towards her.]

I got the healing upgrade too so I can offer a little bit of comfort.

[ Reaching for someone else's hand is so...novel. It takes her a moment to actually lift her hand, but once she does, she grasps onto Rodya's hand with the kind of grip that begs not to let go. It startles her a bit, too, but it's a relief at the same time. Must be one of the side effects they mentioned? ]

I can walk. As long as it's a slower, steady pace.
