β–Ά DOWN TIME.

As Outsiders make themselves comfortable back on MAIN BASE, they will be informed of a reward for their great efforts. A pizza party will be held sometime after the kaiju fight and before a Valentine's party. All it really contains is pizza being served in the cafeteria along with the following streamers with balloons:

Those who do you attend the party will still get this message as a marquee text along their ocular device. Characters CAN take this message off, but it's a bit complex. Try under General > Settings > Notifications > Messages > Texts > Alerts > Appearance > End Battle Notifications > OFF. Hopefully you won't miss something exciting by doing this. The marquee will disappear a week after the kaiju fight.

β–Ά CHOCOLATES.


On the day of February 14th, every Outsider will find that there is a box (or several) of chocolate. As soon as their eyes fall on them, their oculars will automatically generate a message, almost as if it were a mission debrief:

β–ˆ β–ˆ β–ˆ MISSION OBJECTIVE:
βœ– Hand out all chocolate before end of day.
βœ– Failure to comply will be grounds for disciplinary action.

It's unknown who the order has come from, but those who don't hand out chocolates by the end of the day, will find that the very next morning, they are confined to their room for a full 24 hours.

During the duration of the holiday, Outsiders will see a tiny number in the corner of their oculars, which notates how many chocolates they have left to give. This number may also not move unless the chocolates are delivered with enough good will. Maybe add in a word of gratitude, a flirty comment or two, or even a fake confession if you're bold enough.

HOW TO PLAY: Feel free to use this post to play around with these prompts, or start your own logs (both are completely okay)!

NOTE: Everyone is free to decide how many chocolate boxes they were given and how stubborn SYNTHIA is in moving their count down. It can also be assumed that SYNTHIA will be encouraging and guiding Outsiders to complete this mini-mission.



β–Ά SYNDER.

Although ocular & brain implants are the means of communication nowadays, a messenger service still exists in this world. Mostly everyone uses LINE nowadays even if the need for cellular phones is null. Characters may have already recognized the interface to be somewhat familiar with the similar shade of green and same old slogan.

This time, a new extension appears on the LINE interface. It's something called SYNDER? Outsiders who are curious may investigate this program will see that it has already filled out a dating profile for them. This profile is only visible to Outsiders and not the LILITH crew or any civilians. Outsiders MUST change their dating profile to what they would like or delete it... those who are too slow to change or delete their profile may get an embarrassing profile already filled out for them. Once someone responds to their bio, there's no changing it for the rest of the month! So make sure you check out and see what the system programmed for you.

The system is updating … Wait.. SEOK DANG, what the β–ˆ β–ˆ β–ˆ did you do?"


Not long after that, another message runs across the screen.

"Hahaha, it was such a shame we had to fight that big whale bitch around this time of year! Love is in the air, so get loving! It might be the last time you get to do it, who knows! Okay, gang, don't tell the Commander or Captain about this. They're kinda serious biz but I really think we all could use some stress relief, right? Fill out this profile below and get minglin'! Or don't. It'll probably do it for you if you don't put SOMETHING though."


Welcome to our second Network Mingle! This is a Tinder mingle; a new application that SEOK DANG has installed into everyone's implants. It's taken a lot of tweaking and hacking behind the rest of the LILITH crew's backs. Seems like the only person on staff who is interested in seeing Outsiders get some is SD himself. These messages are encrypted from the LILITH crew ... besides SD because he's a nosy bastard. Sounds fun.

HOW TO PLAY:
1. In observation of Valentine's Day, this month's text meme is a dating profile! Pick the textarea that is under your TEAM NAME and fill out the spaces.
2. You can write the bio in character or as if Synder programmed their bio for them.
3. Body count can be confusing... even the automatic system doesn't know what that means! Does it mean how many people you have fucked or how many people you have killed? Or both?

Yes, so! The way the game works is that you build your deck using three types of cards: Monster, Spells, and Traps.

[He shows off examples of each type of card here he is talking about, and more or less gives the general rules of Duel Monsters and phases of play that I am definitely not going to copy and paste here in a thread because it would probably be way too long. Manjoume does at least try to keep it very short and simple, and judging by his enthusiastic tone the more he continues, this is clearly something that he has a lot of passion for before he thinks to pause after about five minutes or so of explaining the game.]

... Oh, uh, does any of this make sense so far? Sorry, it's been a while since I've had to ever actually explain how to play to someone.

.[ He might not understand too much of what's going on, brain only able to remember half of what's being thrown at him, but it's more interesting to him to listen to the obvious passion in this guy's voice. Nothing makes an activity or an experience more interesting to him than to be in the company of someone who clearly enjoys what they're doing.

There's the smallest smile on his face by the time Manjoume stops talking. ]

Some of it. [ No point in lying and saying that he's managed to pick it all up in one go. ] But I figure hands-on experience is the quickest way of picking up information when it comes to things like this.

Oh yeah, of course. Let me see here...

[Manjoume gathers his cards together, as well as grabbing some extras he keeps in his deck box for when he feels like switching up different strategies, and shuffles them together before splitting the deck in two. He puts one half in front of himself, and the other in front of Wriothesley.]

Okay, it's not perfect, but this should work to give you a chance to try playing a little of the game yourself with me. We're not going to worry too much about winning or losing, instead this is going to be just for fun and teaching how certain cards work with or against one another. Normally you don't show what cards you've drawn to your opponent unless there's a card played saying you have to, but since we are practicing you can show me what you draw and answer any questions you have about it or how to play it. How's that sound?
