Hello. My name is Rin Tohsaka. Yesterday I travelled to the desert in an attempt to locate information that could assist LILITH with research about the kaiju. In my search, I found a large area the locals call Qattara, which is the site of research projects from before the kaiju started appearing. The area is now populated by several large sand crocodiles and the locals refuse to go near it. However as the site may contain information about what has happened with the kaiju attacks I wish to return to see if there is anything worth bringing back. A solo expedition would be incredibly dangerous so I'm hoping to find a few volunteers to go with me. Please let me know if you're interested.

[ there's a short pause and then: ]

Muramasa, you're coming with me. I don't want to hear any arguments.

unlike some people, i know and understand my limitations. going there alone would be incredibly stupid.

Of course that doesn't mean you won't get everyone else killed.

You have a plan for if you get caught out of your depth or are you relying on the Doctor to figure that one out?

Unfortunately for me it looks like a few people I'd rather stay alive are in this happy little expedition. So it's in my interests to come along.
At the very least I can send my aircraft to provide cover and transport as needed. I don't have to be nearby to control them.

My helicopters reach 440 km/h, each one can carry six normal sized people. Assuming I stay in Alexandria and there's no headwind they could be on station for emergency transport in about half an hour.
Probably be more convenient to just keep them small and have someone carry them though, that way they're right there.

Anyone besides Gigan. He might try to eat them.

thankfully, we already have people on standby for rescue; you're not the only person here with long range travel capabilities, plus carrying anything not absolutely necessary into that depression will just be cumbersome.
you're welcome to wait in alexandria for an absolute worst case scenario, and if you insist on bringing one helicopter, that's fine.
but this isn't a LILITH sanctioned mission. i'm curious to see what's down there and if anything there could be useful for what we're facing now. we're not going to kill kaiju, no matter what gigan says, and any combat will be self defense only. the minute we start to get overwhelmed, our backups will pull us out.
i don't know that there aren't other groups that would need transportation assistance though... have you asked around?

I think you may be overestimating how large they are, Tohsaka-san.

[ She'll send along an image of a what looks like a toy helicopter sitting on the palm of her hand. It's not much larger than those jets Rin's seen before. ]

But if you're certain I'll let it be, just don't get any of my friends killed.
As for others... I really couldn't care less. If they need help they can ask, it's not as if I can't have aircraft in more than one place at once.
