[ so about stealing narcs for his sake -

he's not screaming in agony, but seeing the damage nearly changes her mind on the spot. she thinks about getting up, sprinting to the pharmacy or looking for a bag of hydrocodone to take away all that obvious pain. once again, yato simply

suffers through it. silently. without a word. until it gets so bad that he can't take it any longer.

hiyori, very professional, doesn't make a face. if anything, her eyes narrow down at the injury. something bit him, she could tell by the pattern of the puncture wounds. that's definitely a burn scarring, too. something like this would never do any damage to a god. it makes his mortality seem more mixed than blessing. if it ever was one.

not if he can get hurt like this.

when he looks at her, she's not too upset. probably just appropriately upset to see the person she loves the most have gone through something traumatic. as a doctor, it would take a lot more than this to make her sick either. much less one of his loved ones. ]

Whoever thought to cauterize was smart. [ immediately stopping the blood flow and minimizing the possibility of an infection. it might've saved him, depending on what bit him.

over the past few days, she hasn't noticed anything strange. it could be totally possible that yato made sure he never gave anything away, though. just like blight. ]

... But I'm sure it - [ hurt. she reaches forward, brushing his bangs and checking his forehead for temperature. just itching with the want to touch him, though with worry settling into the wrinkle in her brow. ]

I'll find a way to get some stronger medication. And antibiotics. [ ...

breathing in deep, she leans over and buries her face into his shoulder. hugging his arm with her good one and reciting something she was supposed to ask him as a nurse, mumbled into his clothes. ]

On a scale of one to ten, how bad is the pain...?
