[text] @goddess of death
Greetings everyone. I am contacting you on behalf of Nicholas D. Wolfwood (user name: punisher).
He recently made a post offering his services as a priest to those who wish to confess their sins. While admirable, the payment he asks in return for such a service is unacceptable. Normally he should be chastised for such behavior, however the money he hopes to earn through his service is to be used for a noble cause: helping the orphaned children of this world. I believe this cause to be an important one and he deserves to be commended for having decided to take it on!
Unfortunately, he lacks the confidence to ask for donations, hence his resorting to selling what should be a sacred service for money. He is convinced nobody will help him, as people typically never give anything away without the expectation of getting something back.
I would greatly appreciate it if you could reassure him that the people in this world are generous. While nothing is prepared yet to receive donations, I am sure he will feel heartened to see the kindness and benevolence we are all capable of. I will personally donate some of my own money when the time comes.
Thank you for your time.

Death is good and necessary!!
…I see. So that is a tragedy possible in other worlds…you are correct. Many fear death so much that they push themselves to a fate much worse.
The gods of my world, aeons. They are more…concepts, than people like you. They can “die” in a sense more like fading or being absorbed into a stronger entity. But I suppose that lack of permanence supports your point.
While death is not something I seek at this point in time, I know it is necessary, for all the reasons you have stated. People must move forward to actually live after all.
I…thank you, for your sympathies, Lady Ereshkigal.
Do not worry. As a Vidyadhara, I am part of a cycle of “death” and rebirth. That is how we have avoided madness, even if we do still tend to live a long time. It is not indefinite.
While it’s likely unnatural, death is still necessary, even with this. A clean slate, as it were.
