Look, I agree that the city is probably going to be fine for a few days if we do chase it, but just like the kaiju, many of us are also wounded and tired. We need to make sure that Lilith has some kind of plan or else we're just getting ourselves killed or subjected to rift poisoning or whatever if we go after it under these conditions.
