Good morning to you all.

I am seeking to add more sparring and training partners to my daily regimen. While I am a swordsman and a marksman, I have no special abilities like many of you do. At least, none that work on kaiju. I would like to train against those who are stronger than I who uses such abilities. I want to be able to learn how to attack and defend against a plethora of different attacks in order to be ready for anything a kaiju may throw at us.

In return, if you are interested in sword or handgun training, I would be glad to show you the ropes.

I'm a well-experienced combatant and seek those who will not hold back.

Exactly. Feel free to ask me if you're interested in other weaponry, though I only know how to use a harpoon and a mace and shield at the moment...

Although, aren't bullets going to be a hassle to buy every time? Unless if they're that cheap to get here.

It's true, you have to buy more from LILITH. I try not to use my gun in battle unless I really need it.

I'm sure if we asked to requisition more blanks for target practice, they could agree to that.

That's fair. I think they'll allow some leeway on that, so long as the ones using guns are responsible enough not to waste them.

No plans on upgrading your handgun with something... bigger?

I'm not sure. What would my options be? It might be something I should consider, given the size of kaiju.

Sniper rifles? For firing at long distances. Though at the end of the day it all depends on the kaiju and whether they could be knocked out with a headshot.

I've never tried. I'd be willing to learn, if I can get the equipment for it. Fighting up close with just a sword hasn't been the most effective on its on as it is. The best hit I've gotten was when I paired up abilities with someone else.

Mm, I get it. Melee weaponry are good for smaller enemies, but if you're fighting off a towering kaiju you're going to need a lot more firepower.

It's worth a shot, even if it's to broaden your horizons a bit.

Thanks for the idea. I'll have to see if anyone here is experienced in such weaponry. Do you know anyone who might be?
