Good morning to you all.

I am seeking to add more sparring and training partners to my daily regimen. While I am a swordsman and a marksman, I have no special abilities like many of you do. At least, none that work on kaiju. I would like to train against those who are stronger than I who uses such abilities. I want to be able to learn how to attack and defend against a plethora of different attacks in order to be ready for anything a kaiju may throw at us.

In return, if you are interested in sword or handgun training, I would be glad to show you the ropes.

I'm a well-experienced combatant and seek those who will not hold back.

I've been training others and sparring as much as I can, but I need to challenge myself more if I wish to compete with kaiju, and not be a liability on the battlefield.

A few people, all of whom are great fighters.
But I am looking to train more, and get more well-rounded. There are people here from all different worlds, with all sorts of things they can teach. Whatever will help me become a better fighter, I will do.

I suppose maybe we just need to watch how far it goes. LILITH probably just doesn't want us to hurt each other too much.

I'm not afraid of getting hurt, though. And while my healing upgrade doesn't always work great on myself, I know many others with it who would help me if I need it. So don't feel like you need to hold back too much.

Surprise is good. I don't want too much of an advantage before we start.

…since you mentioned it though, I’m curious. what’s the healing upgrade about?

It's something that, while I don't regret getting for one moment, I can't recommend anyone get it. It is an elective surgery, so LILITH will not give you pain killers or anesthetic during the process.

However, I have used to help heal and safe countless people, civilians and Outsiders alike. I'm incredibly grateful I've been able to do help in such a way.

It doesn't work as well on myself as it does others. In order to use it, you need to touch someone, so I usually take their hand.

that's interesting, though. figured shit like that was on the table considering the stuff they already shoved in our heads, but hadn't really looked into it yet. lots to take in, you know.

don't think I'd be taking up the offer since I feel like I'm good, but buddy of mine isn't so well equipped. I'll make sure to pass it along for him.

If you know anyone who is considering it, let them know there are now many people here who've gone through it who can talk them through it, and heal them up afterward. I know I wouldn't want someone suffering longer than they need to.

We are a team, after all. We're only as strong as the weakest link in the chain. It's best to help each other out.

I have been here since the first group of Outsiders was brought in. So far, we have had three major kaiju battles, along with some fights against smaller ones. While I can't say the missions have gone perfectly, so far, all Outsiders have managed to defeat the kaiju and return from battle alive.

I wish I could say the same regarding civilian casualties.

because I don’t get summoned casually. I’m the god of conflict and survival. so, wherever I go, conflict follows. or it was already there. real chicken and egg situation.

if you're well read, you should know me. my pantheon's not one of the most famous, I admit, but my name is one that tends to drift out the furthest from it.

I'm familiar. I am a summoner, and it's part of my job to know spirits and deities from all cultures, as you never know who or what you may encounter in our line of work.

Sorry to say that I never had met anyone from your pantheon back home. But I know of it, and you.

can't say I'm surprised you hadn't met any of us. save for me and quetzalcoatl, mine's pretty reclusive. pretty sore about how shit went, you know? Perhaps it was only a matter of time before I did.
While I've spent my whole life studying to be a summoner, it's only in the last two years at home when I was working as a titled summoner, and travelling to more places where I may encounter such entities.

[This isn't the first time he's done dimensional travelling either.]

In my defense, some of my own summons said much the same before working with me. If I could, I'd have you ask Futsunishi, or Beelzebub, or Susano-O, or Decarabia....

[Raidou is no bragger, but he knows he's a skilled summoner, and is at least a little proud of his roster.]

Through battle. I had to prove myself first, and they were convinced by what they saw in me. I'm honored to have any the approval of demons of their ranks, and to have them fighting by my side.

["Demon" as a bit of a catch-all for all manner of supernatural beings.]

However, LILITH brought me here without them. This is why I am looking for more training - to make up for the crutch of having my demons to aid me in battle.

can't exactly fight by your side in the way you did before, I'm gonna guess, but training? absolutely. definitely wanna see what you can do now. I'll put you on the shortlist for one of my Trials, even, but gotta get to know you better for those

You may be surprised. I've actually been able to work with a few here that are, shall we say, not quite human, in what would be a summoner/demon relationship. It's worked quite well. They benefit from having access to my magnetite - my magical energy, if you will - and working together has been a boon in battle.

I've been willing to extend the offer to others. But I am more than willing to prove myself in a Trial first to see if you are truly interested.
